models in both natural and LP (propane) gas. Introduced in January 2003, the TurboCharger was initially offered in a single natural gas model configuration, with a storage capacity of 100 gallons and a firing rate of 200,000 Btu/hr. The additional models offer a storage capacity of 100 gallons with firing rates of 150,000 and 250,000 Btu/hr in both natural and LP gas. All models are now available in standard or ASME construction.
All TurboCharger models feature a fully condensing, sealed combustion, direct vent design, which draws all combustion air from outside and vents all byproducts outdoors. The flexible venting options include vertical or horizontal venting with ABS, CPVC or PVC pipe, up to 100 equivalent feet with 3? vent pipe and 150 equivalent feet with 4? vent pipe.
The submerged combustion chamber, premix power burner and unique triple pass flue system create a heater with a thermal efficiency rating of up to 98 percent. The premix power burner precisely mixes gas and air for optimum efficiency while producing low NOx emissions that meet all air quality standards.
Its small footprint and sealed combustion chamber make the TurboCharger ideal for tight mechanical rooms and installations with negative air conditions.
