Yes, the Copper-Fin II comes equipped with a 24V terminal strip located in the electrical junction box. 399 through 750 BTU/HR models may use a set of dry switching contacts connected across the R1-W1, R2-W2 and (if equipped) R3- W3 terminals to remotely turn each stage on and off. 990,000 BTU/HR and larger models will have an additional terminal strip with a pair of C and NO terminals for each stage of input to allow burner operation to be switched remotely. Remove the brass buss bar between the terminals for each step and wire dry switching contacts to the terminals to activate the individual stages. Additional safety controls can be connected to the X and B contacts on the terminal strip.
All models must be installed on a non-combustible floor. 300,000 through 750,000 BTU/HR models may be installed on a combustible floor only when equipped with an optional combustible floor kit supplied by Lochinvar.
