Lochinvar Honors Top Sales Performance for 2003

Lochinvar® Corporation names Tim Russell, of Nashville, Tennessee their 2003 Salesman of the Year.

Lochinvar’s Salesman of the Year award is presented to the top performing salesperson based on percent increase in sales from the previous year, mix of products sold and excellence in customer service.

Russell, who covers Tennessee and Southern/Western Kentucky, began with Lochinvar’s Technical Services Department, before moving into sales. Russell increased sales in his territory more than 19 percent in 2003.

“With the lack of new construction this last year I was able to spend more time with my customers building stronger personal relationships,” said Russell. “I also feel that I could not have succeeded without the unmatched support from my inside sales staff.”

“Tim Russell achieved a significant sales increase in all Lochinvar product categories residential to commercial custom in his middle Tennessee territory,” said Mike Lahti, vice president of sales, Lochinvar Corporation. “He added new distribution and found new sales outlets for our products and performed other tasks in a manner that deserves this year’s salesman of the year award.”
