| Lochinvar® Corp. introduces the Power Direct Vent residential gas water heater, which provides customers with efficient and reliable water heating. The Power Direct Vent water heater provides dependable water heating with a two-pipe closed combustion system, which utilizes one vent to exhaust the byproducts of combustion and a separate air intake to provide fresh combustion air. The flexible venting options include venting with ABS, CPVC or PVC pipe up to 25 feet using 3? vent pipe or up to 60 feet using 4? vent pipe. High firing inputs ensure fast heat up and recovery, while the dip tube design provides one of the highest first-hour delivery rates in the industry. The adjustable thermostat allows customers to reset the water temperature for the highest energy efficiency, and the automatic over-heat safety device is standard. The whisper-quiet, 360-degree low NOx burner incorporates aluminized steel into its die-formed design and also satisfies local codes and emissions standards. The large burner diameter transfers more heat while providing clean and efficient combustion. The glass-lined steel tank assures lasting protection against rust and corrosion and provides clean, clear hot water. The dielectric nipples also protect the tank from corrosive action, and the foam insulation minimizes standby losses and maximizes heat retention. The Power Direct Vent residential gas water heater also includes side tappings for space heating applications, a power cord for easy installation and a brass drain valve. Lochinvar provides a six-year or ten-year limited tank warranty and a six-year warranty on all parts. |
