Lochinvar® Launches Updated VIP Contractor Program

Lochinvar is kicking off its 2015-2016 VIP Contractor Program and introducing new perks for participants. Launching Oct. 1, the multi-faceted annual program rewards VIP Contractors for their installations of Lochinvar’s residential boilers during the upcoming heating season. 

Register Products to Automatically Receive Rewards

Throughout the year, approved VIP Contractors will receive a Visa® Reward Card for every eligible product they register. Qualified products include the high-efficiency KNIGHT® (55 – 399k Btu/hr), Solution™ and Cadet® Boilers, as well as the Squire® Indirect Water Heater.

Contractors can register purchases quickly and easily at the new and improved KnightHeatingBoiler.com. For every eligible boiler registration, the VIP Contractor will receive a Visa Reward Card pre-loaded with $25 value; each registration of the Squire Indirect Water Heater will earn an additional $10. 

In addition to the gift card rewards, eligible VIP Contractors are entered into a monthly drawing for Lochinvar’s annual four-day getaway prize package, the Nashville Experience. The all-expenses-paid trip for two includes tickets to the world’s largest country music festival in June 2016. The winning VIP Contractors will also tour Lochinvar’s world headquarters and take part in a round-table discussion where they can share insights and information with Lochinvar executives. 

Enter Installations for a Chance to Win Monthly Prizes 

As in past years, the VIP Installation Showcase will be a major draw for participating, eligible contractors as they compete to win spots on the Nashville Experience trip. The contest, which can be accessed on Lochinvar’s Facebook page, as well as at the updated KnightHeatingBoiler.com, allows eligible VIP Contractors to submit their installations for a chance to be recognized for their work. 

New to this year’s contest, participants have the option of submitting a single photo or a short video showing off their installation. Since jobs in tight spaces or with multiple pieces of equipment often can’t be fully captured with a single photo, the video option is designed to allow eligible VIP Contractors to showcase their installations and ingenuity in greater detail. Entries can be submitted from a smartphone, desktop or tablet. 

Another change to the VIP Installation Showcase is the elimination of voting. While contractors can still view the gallery of entries to check out their peers’ impressive work, an expert panel of judges will determine the first, second and third place winners.
 
Adding to the program’s perks, prizes will now be awarded on a monthly basis for all three finalists. Among eligible VIP Contractors, each month’s first place winner receives a spot on the Nashville Experience, the second place winner receives a $250 Visa® Reward Card and the third place receives a $100 Visa® Reward Card.

Finally, in an effort to open the contest to a greater number of VIP Contractors, Lochinvar is also introducing a “Light Commercial Month” to this year’s program. While qualified products from October 2015 through March 2016 remain unchanged from previous years (KNIGHT® 55,000 – 399,000 Btu/hr, Solution™ and Cadet® Boilers, as well as the Squire™ Indirect Water Heater), eligible VIP Contractors will have the opportunity to showcase their light commercial jobs in the final month of the contest. Qualified products for April 2016 include KNIGHT® Heating Boilers and FTXL™ Fire Tube Boilers ranging from 399,000 - 800,000 Btu/hr.

The seven monthly Installation Showcase winners, along with the seven contractors randomly selected in the monthly drawings, will be joined on the Nashville Experience by two overall top-performing VIPs for a total of 16 winners of the grand prize package.

Exclusive Benefits 

On top of the many rewards that VIP Contractors can earn, participants in the program also receive a wealth of exclusive benefits. Lochinvar has added a new VIP Marketing Toolbox at KnightHeatingBoiler.com to allow VIP Contractors to order a variety of high-impact sales materials, customized with their company logo, address, phone and website. 

Once a contractor joins the VIP Program, they are also added to an online contractor locator at KnightHeatingBoiler.com. When a homeowner in their area clicks on “Find a Contractor,” the VIP’s company name and contact information will appear in the search results, helping to connect them with new customers and grow their business.
