Lochinvar Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of David Baker as specification specialist for the Greater Tampa and Orlando markets.

In this new role, Baker will be responsible for assisting specifying engineers and end users with design and application methods for Lochinvar's boiler, water heater and pool heater products to ensure trouble-free systems.
In addition, Baker will work side-by-side with district managers in the Florida market to ensure proper follow-through from the design stage to the start-up and commissioning of Lochinvar equipment.

Mark Timmerman, district manager for the Greater Orlando area, will take part in this team effort with responsibilities at the wholesale distributor and mechanical/plumbing contractor level.  As district manager for the Greater Tampa area, Jason DeCarlucci will handle the same responsibilities in his section of the Central Florida territory.

Baker joined Lochinvar 12 years ago as a district sales manager for the Connecticut and Western Massachusetts territories.  He was selected as National Salesman of the Year in 1998 and recognized for Outstanding Sales Achievement awards in 1997 and 2001.

In 2002, Baker was promoted to Northeast Regional Sales Manager.
"We at Lochinvar are confident that David's strong background in hydronic heating and domestic hot water systems makes him an ideal candidate for this position," stated Mike Lahti, vice president of sales for Lochinvar.  "The industry experience and knowledge of Lochinvar products shared between Baker, Timmerman and DeCarlucci will undoubtedly prove to be beneficial to our Florida business."
