Lochinvar Unveils New Demonstration Van

Lochinvar® Corporation, a leading manufacturer of water heaters and boilers, kicks off its’ Hot Water Solutions Tour at manufacturer representative, Hou-Tra International in Houston, Texas.

Lochinvar’s new 27-foot demonstration van traveling across the United States promoting the energy efficiency and innovative engineering of the Intelli-Fin® and Power-Fin® water heater and boiler product lines will be at Houston’s Hou-Tra International for a day-long conference on Dec. 4th.

Local engineers, contractors and school district officials are invited to an open house and technical seminar that will focus on the installation and trouble shooting for Lochinvar’s Copper-Fin II® product. Golf and cruise packages will be given away throughout the day, and lunch is provided by Ninfas.

“This is a great opportunity to come out and see the water heater and boiler products available from Lochinvar,” said Ron Shepherd, manager of specialty products, Hou-Tra International. “We are excited about the seminar and demonstrating the engineering and reliability of the Lochinvar product line.”

About the Lochinvar Demonstration Van

This traveling product showcase is equipped with a full-size 1.5 million Btu/hr Intelli-Fin® unit, partially cutaway to display a simulated sequence of operation. The Intelli-Fin unit is fully piped and vented to replicate an authentic installation. Images are used to display the sequence of operation, integration options, condensing technology and product flexibility.

In addition, the van houses a full-size 1.5 million Btu/hr Power-Fin® unit, cutaway to reveal the gasketless copper tube heat exchanger and all working parts. The control panel replicates a full call for heat and modulation to maintain set point. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, the Power-Fin has been engineered into a compact design that operates with high efficiency and reliability.

Two plasma display screens are packed full of information educating visitors on Lochinvar’s extensive product line. Additional graphics introduce thermal efficiency, heat exchanger design, flexible venting solutions, proper water heater and boiler piping, and much more.

This self-contained rolling tour will visit manufacturing representatives, wholesalers, industry tradeshows and much more across the country, to provide visitors hands-on hot water solutions from Lochinvar.
