The Lochinvar Thermal-Stor™ heat pump storage tank is optimized for efficiently storing thermal energy from Domestic Hot Water (DHW) applications requiring long duration recovery periods. Thermal-Stor tanks are designed to take full advantage of single pass systems by reducing turbulence of incoming water that would disrupt hot water volume with Lochinvar’s patent pending stratifying baffle. Heat pump systems integrated with Thermal-Stor tanks deliver an industry leading drawdown of 95%, ensuring continual hot water supply. An impressive R22 insulation value helps retain the efficiently produced heat until it is demanded by the system.
