Weston Village, WI (August 19, 2021)—Designed and built in 1998, the Village of Weston Aquatic Center features an outdoor 350,000-gallon pool with two lap lanes, three slides, diving board, a play structure and ample space for up to 867 guests. With a footprint of nearly 14,000 square feet, the aquatic center hosts up to 30,000 people in a single 12-week season, offering families and young adults in the area a place to swim, play and relax. As part of the Village of Weston’s Parks, Forestry & Recreation Department, led by Director Shawn Osterbrink, the aquatic center remains an integral part of the community. Incorporated in 1996, just over 15,000 people call the Village of Weston home.

Omaha, Nebraska (June 21, 2021)—Two Lochinvar Copper-Fin2® Commercial Pool Heaters were center stage for a 12-day swimming competition in Omaha, Neb., this June. Spear Corporation in Roachdale, Ind., tapped Lochinvar to supply the critical pool heating equipment to ensure top athletes could perform in optimal conditions. Set up directly on top of the basketball court in the facility’s main arena, the two pools – a warm-up pool and a competition pool – totaled more than 1.8 million gallons of water. In less than two-weeks, Spear Corporation needed to set up the heaters and ensure the pools were ready for the event.

Cape Canaveral, FL (July 31, 2020)—NASA’s Kennedy Space Center (KSC) has a rich history of innovation as the nation's premiere spaceport supporting both government and commercial launch vehicles and spacecraft. One key area that reflects the project’s focus on efficiency is the heating system. A total of five CREST® Condensing Boilers from Lochinvar® were installed at KSC in late 2015 and early 2016. The boilers were installed in two buildings at the KSC complex by mechanical contractors from the Sauer Group.
